| Description | September 13, 2012 In social networks appeared a screenshot of Ilham Aliyev’s facebook personal page, as well as screenshots of the most read in the world tabloids and newspapers, such as The Washington Post, Russian service of BBC, CNN, The Kommersant. All screenshots featured as “The letter of John Lennon killer Mark David Chapman to Azerbaijani President” with a request to grant him citizenship ... Internet exploded with this letter. Multiple discussions of internet users about the letter, Armenian hackers attack Azerbaijani sites and put this letter on them, dozens of informational sites citing reliable sources telling the world about this letter content. Two days later, the network appeared demotivators with the words: "What is incredible - a letter to President Aliyev from Chapman or extradition and clemency of Safarov? Radio “Van” believes that the second one is more incredible ..." Simultaneously with the appeared demotivators Radio “Van” broadcasted audio version of "The letter to Aliyev" in Russian and English languages. The project was conceived as a response to release and the extradition of Gurgen Markarian’s murderer- Safarov. |
