DescriptionAims of the advertisement campaign:
- broaden the knowledge about athlete’s foot among the target audience
- establish direct relation between the athlete’s foot and LAMISIL medication
Digital advertising of medicines often results in nothing more than negative emotions and a desire to block the banners. NOVARTIS, one of the largest pharmaceutical players, needed a really fresh approach to enriching the knowledge of Lamisil. The key was an associative array “Athlete’s foot – fungi – Lamisil”. A “fungus conspiracy” was designed and revealed in the Internet to promote Lamisil. It turned out that a worldwide mycelium had been struggling for power with humanity for ages. The fungi even started to enslave humans when the “Say no to fungi!” movement stood against it, lead by an off-the-wall microbiologist and ethnographer L.M. Zilov. It was an all-out battle between L.M. Zilov and the fungi, on GRIBAM.NET website, Youtube and social networks as a battlefield.
