Description | Problem: In recent years the flow of Belarusian people going on holidays to Egypt has significantly reduced. Aim: To stimulate Belarusian tourists to travel to Egypt, using a minimal budget for the project. Background: One of the key factors why tourists choose to go on holidays to Egypt – is the extraordinary biodiversity of the Red Sea, spectacular diving sites and snorkelling. Idea: To stir up emotions in a potential tourist similar to those experienced while diving in the Red Sea. Solution: In one of the largest and most prestigious Minsk hypermarkets was placed a diver’s figure in an aquarium with exotic fish. The impression was that this diver is swimming midst beautiful giant fishes watching their life. Thus, the customers could envisage those amazing emotions while diving in Egypt. The overall picture was reinforced by slogan “Diving in Egypt – Genuine Impressions”. Results: • Every day more than 10,000 representatives of the target audience have perceived our message. • People lingered near the aquarium being interested and photographed the unusual diver. • Tour operator’s plan to attract Belarusian tourists to Egypt was successfully carried out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHtNpjEH2H0&feature=youtu.be |
