Description | We decided to propose an interactive way of the musical, that is, to give the leading roles to the bank’s employees. The musical’s action lasted for 75 minutes, involving more than 40 employees of the bank. It had been prepared by a professional production team for 30 days. 58 costumes and 92 accessories were produced for the performance. A unique complex of 12 moving stills on the ring suspension bracket had been generated. The backstage team for the action included 7 stylists and hairdressers, 4 costumiers and property masters, totaling 22 persons. More than 130 hours was dedicated to the vocal lessons, working in the studio, mixing and performative practice. An amazing investigation plot unfolded on the stage of the “Acco-International” exhibition complex, being accompanied with the songs of Muse, Queen, Elton John, Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Sting, and the other classics of British music. The story was about the conquest of London Stock Exchange by a mysterious player, Delta Bank. The would-be stars of the musical had been rehearsing daily for 3 weeks. Oksana Taranenko, a famous Ukrainian theatre and film director, well known by her work for television, cinema, theatre and opera, became a leader of the creative group of scriptwriters, directors, stylists and costumiers. The lyrics for all 11 main songs of the musical were written with the consideration of some current events of Delta Bank’s life. |
