Karina Ogandjanian graduated from the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University. In 1988, after graduation, she enrolled in post-graduate course at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Karina began her professional career in the marketing department of IMC Apple Computers. From 1994 to 1997 she worked at McCann-Erickson. Karina grew from a position of account manager to Director of Customer Service in this company. She also worked in the commercial department of the ORT TV channel (predecessor of Channel One Russia). In 1998 Karina joined the Group's business and became the first managing director of TWIGA Advertising agency ever.
