Description | Augmented Reality for the booth of ROCKWOOL Company at the exibition MosBuild 2013 Augmented Reality is an integration of virtual elements in the image of the real world. For the Augmented Reality of ROCKWOOL these virtual elements were bear, wolf, deer and serval. Professional video camera transmits images of the booth on the videowall, and a special sensor detects the position of the visitors. If no one is close to the videowall, in the Augmented Reality on the screen animals just walk around the booth. But if anyone of the visitors comes to the stand, the sensor detects the position of the person and a realistic image of the animal appears right next to him – the wolf looking into the eyes, the bear waving paws, the dissatisfied serval or the phlegmatic deer. Played with animals, visitors can come to the multitouch table to print their pictures with virtual animals or send e-mail with them. Augmented Reality of the ROCKWOOL booth had a huge sucsess. Just over 2,000 printed pictures in 4 days of the exhibition! |
